Public Works

The Department of Public Works (DPW) has a wide range of responsibilities which are all directed toward the maintenance of village infrastructure and the delivery of village services. The DPW is responsible for the maintenance of: the streets you drive on; the roadside trees and parks that beautify our neighborhoods; the water we drink; storm and wastewater collection systems, snow and ice control; leaf collection; street sweeping; water main repairs; hydrant flushing and repairs; as well as a number of other services.
